Neglect...and pics!
Unfortunately, there is sooooo much to catch up on that I am overwhelmed by the thought of it. And therefore, I'm procrastinating it to another day.
Instead, here...take a look at me & my hub. And if that doesn't cut it, hop on over to Images By Sandy. She took these. And many, many more. Thanks Sandy!!!!!

Clearly a Fan
Well, it was nice. My husband is a nice person. And he did clean.
But I also came home to this...
Hanging on our FRONT window. For all the world to see.
Really Michael? Really? (Picture me slowly shaking my head now)
Yeah, it lasted just long enough to take the picture..... much to Mike's dismay.
And, not that it matters, but yes it is also backwards. (More head shaking)

Hearty.
Day!I found this husband tag from a friend's blog and thought I'd jump on the bandwagon.
What better day to post about your husband than Valentine's Day?
(Okay, yes... his birthday probably would have been a good one. It was BUSY, ok! So sue me.)
Where we met: The Inferno (the pet name for the house my roommates & I lived in). This is where he picked me up for the blind date we were set up on.
How long we dated before we got hitched: Welllll....about a year...minus 7 months.
My favorite features about him: Eyes. (Have you SEEN his eyelashes?! I mean, it's really not fair.) I also like his muscles.
My favorite qualities about him: He's sweet. He really is. He takes care of me, even when I don't outwardly appreciate it. He's also a good worker. Every time we visit my parents, he helps my Dad with the farm chores.
His nickname for me: Babe. Or Hun. Sometimes Oakley.
His favorite color: Red. Ute Red.
His favorite food: He doesn't have a favorite. But, he likes chicken cordon bleu pasta from Firehouse. And his Mom's Christmas dinners are at the top of the list, as well. Oh, and brunch from Little America.
His favorite sport: Hmm. To play - probably baseball. To watch on TV - probably basketball. To go to - probably Ute Football and Aggie Basketball.
Who said the "L" word first: He did.
When was our first kiss: I say third date. He says second. He's wrong.
Favorite "couple" thing to do: Um, I asked him this. He said something that most guys would probably think, but not say on a blog. So here is number 2. Going to Aggie basketball games together.
His hidden talents: He is a chef. He just made me this amazing fondue sauce for Valentine's Day. It was awesome.
Will he read this? He's been lurking around while I type this, and I won't let him read it. So, he will probably check it as soon as I leave the computer. So, yes.

Kiddie Tag
No, I don't have any "kiddies".
But Jennifer has kiddie tagged Mike, I think because she didn't want to discriminate against the non-parents and have us miss out on the tag-arific fun.
Thank you Jennifer.
Now. Here are 5 things about my kid-like husband.
1- He is a fisherman. He really really really likes to fish. This is an understatement.
2- He is an athlete. Plays all sports well. Plays baseball like a dream. And knows the game better than anyone I can think of.
3- He dislikes cucumbers. And going to the movie theater.
4- He is a worker. Our yard would not survive without him.
5- He is nice. Cleans the house, gets me food, keeps me warm, buys me stuff. He's also nice to other people.
The End.
I tag whoever actually reads this that hasn't been tagged yet.

Mike on a bike

Mike on a bike.
Mike on a bike with some guys that he like..........s.
Mike on a bike where he probably shouldn't even hike.
Mike on a bike where, uh, lightning could strike?
Bike on a Mike.
The End.
I know. I should really consider becoming a poet.
Mike has wanted me to post his trip to Moab for quite some time now. Uh, I'm pretty sure he went on the trip back in May. Yeah. Got right on that, didn't I? Anyway, he had a lot of fun & those are just some of many, many pics from the adventure (compliments of Nacho).

A Good One
I know! I Love It!
So I called Mike and told him so. He came home and I opened the mysterious 2 other gifts, but they will remain a mystery right now because I want to get to the other part.
As if that wasn't already enough, Mike said, "Are you ready for the last one?" What? There's more??? So he pointed to the corner and in it I found THIS...
No, not the laptop.
THIS...
And now you are thinking 'what's so great about that?' Well, I will tell you what's so great. THAT is what now gives me access to the Internet. AT HOME! Yes, that's right. I am at home right now, blogging my little heart out. My library days are over. Well, not over, because I do still read. But, you know, over.
I sure have a good one, don't I.
Oh, and the very large, mysteriously heavy, wrapped gifts?
Two bags of Compost Dirt for my bucket gardens.
If you're wondering what bucket gardens are, those are for another post. (Though they are pretty self-explanatory.)
