Day 18: 5 Things That Irritate Me

  1. When people I'm not close to encroach upon my personal space.
  2. Leftover soap in the dispenser. Remember this?
  3. People who don't cover their coughs and/or sneezes. ew.
  4. When my child is sleeping and someone rings the doorbell. I realize it's not their fault. I realize they probably don't know my child is sleeping. I get it. But it still annoys me.
  5. When people who have given birth tell people who have or will adopt that they're doing it the easy way.

Happy Heart Day

About once a year I get ambitious enough to do something creative. This year it was near Valentine's Day.

Happy Heart Day.

Days 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17

Bored of this 30 Day Blogging Challenge? That makes 2 of us. But I can't not finish. So...

The purse.

Basically, the purse is full of a whole bunch of crap.

"If we don't change direction, we will arrive at where we are going." -Richard L. Evans

Chapstick, cell phone.

No. But here's a great picture instead.

Day 8

Well, I didn't get around to day 7.

But here's Day Eight: A song to match your mood

The Luckiest by Ben Folds
I don't get many things right the first time
In fact, I am told that a lot
Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls
Brought me here

And where was I before the day
That I first saw your lovely face?
Now I see it everyday
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

What if I'd been born fifty years before you
In a house on a street where you lived?
Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike
Would I know?

And in a white sea of eyes
I see one pair that I recognize
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you

Next door there's an old man who lived to his nineties
And one day passed away in his sleep
And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days
And passed away

I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way to tell you that I know we belong
That I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest
