Remember back in 2009 when we did this...

Park City.

Turkey Bowl.

Thanksgiving. Kind of.  I don't really have many pics of Thanksgiving. But here are some cute ones of the nieces & nephs.

And Ken bringing sexy back.

And Mom bringing sexy back.

She'll really like this picture, by the way.  Hi Mom!

An Outing.

Not long ago, my parents and a few of the grandkiddos & I visited the Bear River Bird Refuge.

And the Golden Spike.

Good times.

Except when one of the workers got all up in my Mom's business.  Seriously, lady.  I think a grown woman knows to stop before she reaches the track.  And the train wasn't even close.  Let's lighten up a little.

Word to My Mother

Hi Mom.

Well, it turns out my Mom listens to my music.

And LIKES it.

The other day my Mom told me that she thought something was wrong with her computer because she always listens to my songs and now the songs weren't playing.

Ohhhh. My mom's so sweet.

Well, it wasn't your computer, Mom. It was me.

I had to take off the tunes for awhile because I got worried when my songs suddenly changed to different songs without me changing them. Has that ever happened to anyone else? Anyway, I got freaked and just took the whole song gadget thing off. So now I switched to a different song website and hopefully nothing weird happens with this one.

Mom, I don't know which songs you liked, but I tried to put a lot of the same one's I had on there before. Plus a few more. And a special one just for you. The rap one. J/k, of course, it's the Song for Mama.

P.S. The song player is at the very bottom of my blog. I had to move it there so the scroller didn't get cut off.

An acquired taste

I like these.

I don't know why. I first tried one at my Mom's house and thought they were quite disgusting. Why ruin a good cracker, I thought. What's with throwing wierd herbs & oils into the mix?

But then as the weekend continued I found myself alone with them sitting there in front of me. And rather than getting up and looking in the cupboard where there was sure to be other kinds of snacks (in fact, many, many other kinds of snacks since my Mom is the coolest and makes sure to have some of our favs on hand), I instead reached my hand into the box and had another. Still I didn't think they were great. But they were there, so I partook.

Well, it came time to leave and my Mom handed us a full box of none other than......Rosemary & Olive Oil Triscuits. Turns out she doesn't like them.

Funny.

Anyway, I like to eat and since 3 hours is far too long for me to wait for my next meal, I popped a few of those little things in on the drive home. Well, they rid me of my hunger pains, but still didn't do much for my taste buds.

A few days later Mike did the grocery shopping and of course came home with a new box. I know. I guess he liked them. I had a few because you can't let things go to waste, y'know.

Now, do you know what I eat ALL. THE. TIME? Yes, that's right. The next grocery shopping trip I came home with TWO boxes of those little guys.

Now they are a standing item on the list.

Ridiculous.

I'm baaack.

I know, I know. I'm a little bit behind in my blogging.

Okay. FINE. I'm a lot behind in my blogging.

But, really, it's not like the 5 people who actually read this are going to DIE if they don't hear what's happening in the life of Annie, right?

So I forgive myself.

But since I really do appreciate you 5 people, and since I know you are just waiting in anticipation to see what's going on in my life....

Life during May.

(And this is the SHORT version.)

This is the way we shop...

I had the good fortune of having my Mom & sister come visit me over the weekend. Unfortunately, I totally forgot to take pictures.

But don't worry, there's this one from the booth at the mall.

Mom & Elise, thanks for the good times! (And the money!)
