Oh Happy Birthday.

Way back in May, Jenny had a birthday.
Jenny's Scandinavian Birthday. Wow. What can I tell you about this?

Let's just say, what happens at Stockman's Grill, stays at Stockman's Grill.... for now.
(You're welcome, Jennifer & Amy. And Music Dave.)

Here's basically the coolest cake ever.  Made by Jennifer.  Who knows how to use a hot dog bun when she has to.

Jenny loves that cake so much, she wants to kiss it!

Unfortunately, that is the extent of my pictures of the event (not counting the videos I may or may not post someday).  So, I don't have pictures of our awesomeness at the Pioneer Pentathlon.  We TOTALLY beat those 2nd-graders.  It was rigged, for sure.

And I don't have pictures of the Jenny Frame Game.  Which had some pretty amazing prizes!  Dad Frame thought so, anyway.  Ha.  Good times. Good times.

And I don't have pictures of the many other awesome happenings of the Jenny Frame Scandinavian Birthday Extravaganza.

So I'll just leave you with this picture of Jenny holding her shoe.  Because she'll really like it.  I'm pretty sure it will bring back fond memories of her FAVORITE trip to D.C.
Happy Birthday, Jenny.

YW Ward Camp Director: Year 2.

Back in July, this is where I spent 4 days.

It looks so serene & calm (& clean) doesn't it.
Yeah.  That's because I took these pictures BEFORE seventeen girls filled those tents.

Oh girls' camp.  No offense, but I'm glad you only come once a year.

Ragnar Wasatch Back Relay. Check.

Before the race
(Don't stare into my legs. You'll go blind.)

During the race
I don't have many "during the race" pics.  But it basically consisted of this:
  • Ride in a cramped suburban
  • Run in the hottest weather known to man (What. It was.)
  • Ride in a cramped suburban
  • Eat gogurt. Yes, gogurt
  • Ride in a cramped suburban
  • Ride in a cramped suburban
  • Ride in a cramped suburban
  • Hold the flag! (Don't forget that flag!)
  • Try to sleep in the cramped suburban
  • Don't get any sleep
  • Eat crackers
  • Run in the middle of the night, thanking my lucky stars that it's not the hottest weather known to man (What. I was.)
  • Ride in the cramped suburban
  • Ride in the cramped suburban
  • Eat gogurt. Eat crackers.
  • Wait in line for the 1 bathroom in town
  • Ride in the cramped suburban
  • Ride in the cramped suburban
  • Hold the flag!
  • Wait. Wait. Wait.
  • Run the long-awaited last leg
  • Basically have the worst and somehow the best time ever.  Did I mention the cramped suburban?
Luckily, all this awesomeness was had with some of the coolest chicas ever! (What. They are.)
Us. Minus Holly. She's also one of the coolest chicas ever, but she happened to be running at this moment.

And let's not forget our driver/pack-horse/water-boy/human GPS.

After the race in all our sleep-deprived glory

And ready for next year....right???

Toetally!

There are sooooo many things that I wanted to post about, but didn't.  And they've added up.  So I've decided that even though some might be from months (and months, and months) ago, I'm just going to throw stuff in wherever I feel like it.

Because, it's my blog and I can.

So, first on the docket...
My "Toe"tally awesome birthday!

Where Ame-dawg showed me some "toe"riffic makeup techniques

Where we got pedicures & ate this cake made by one Jenny Frame (and I tried not to look or think about it too much),
and where I turned the big 3-TOE!
At which point, Jennifer made this face.
I know! That's how I feel about it too!

And then Rikki counted this money.
She sure likes to count money!

Raegan was there too...
Which made Jenny do this...
Yeah. Good times were had.  Thanks gals!
